About Me

Hello, my name is Lauren and I'm a freelance illustrator and mangaka from the UK, based in Tokyo, Japan. 

My work is heavily influenced by manga, children's books and my travels throughout Asia and Europe. You can find my portfolio here.

I am currently working on two self published manga; The Last Necromancer (fantasy shounen) and Pas de Deux (boys love). I also release mini zines, illustration books, and fan doujinshi from time to time. 

I teach manga page construction over on my patreon page, as well as release updates, exclusive illustrations and first look at manga chapters, all of which are free to read for patrons. 

I have sold at over 100 comic and anime conventions over the last five years in multiple countries such as Japan, USA, UK, Germany, France, The Netherlands and Finland. This has been my favourite way to connect with other artists and customers throughout the years. 

I work exclusively with digital art, mostly using an iPad and drawing programs. You can find a list of my gear, programs and apps here.
